The Saudi ambassador reveals the details of the new system of Umrah and Hajj visas
Some tourism companies exaggerate the prices of Hajj and
Umrah in which Umrah Package December 2017 giving the cheapest rate of umrah and hajj packages
Egypt receives from 80 to 85 thousand Hajj visas annually
Egyptian-Saudi relations are strong and will not be affected
by anything
Ambassador Ahmed Qattan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in
Cairo, said that there are some tourist companies that have a great
exaggeration in the prices they offer for the Hajj or Umrah. Some companies
have reached the "Hajj Bagdaj" to 170 thousand pounds. These figures
are much exaggerated. For many decades, Saudi Arabia was given free visas for
Hajj and Umrah without receiving a single million.
"By the way, he is talking positively about the new
visa system," he said during his telephone conversation with media
reporter Ahmed Mousa in the program "On My Account", which was
broadcast on "Sada al-Balad". "Rich and poor when they apply for
a Hajj or Umrah visa for the time the first one will be free, and the Kingdom
last year gave more than one million Umrah visas to Egypt only. In the Year, if
we receive a million Egyptian pounds for Umrah for the first time, Saudi Arabia
or the Saudi Embassy in Cairo will not receive any fees for this visa. The poor,
either if the rich person tries to obtain a Umrah visa for the second time, and
has a material ability to pay, the whole issue is to allow the brothers in
Egypt and the Arab countries to perform Umrah for the first time. As for the
person who is unable to perform Umrah, He has the financial ability. "

The Saudi ambassador in Cairo said: "The same applies
to Hajj, Egypt gets from 80 to 85 thousand visas and we make sure that the Hajj
visas are granted for Hajj once every five years, and this system has been in
place for a long time, Because the duty once is enough, but those who wish to
repeat this is another, and the vision of the Kingdom 2030 increase the number
of pilgrims and Umrah during the coming period.
"What we see on Egyptian television in the satellite
channels and the attack on Saudi Arabia does not represent the Egyptian
government, nor is it the case in Saudi Arabia," Qattan said.
The Saudi ambassador pointed out that the attack on Saudi
Arabia was not issued by any government official and therefore will not take it
into account, stressing that the Saudi-Egyptian relations are very distinctive
and strong and will not be affected by anything.
